A relaxed morning makes all the difference! This is how I start my day:
1️⃣ Hydration first: After waking up, I immediately drink a glass of water – a little ritual that stimulates the circulation.
2️⃣ Coffee & exercise: While my portafilter machine is warming up, I take my first steps.
3️⃣ Skincare love: A cool face roller and my favorite products are a must for dark circles under the eyes. ✨
4️⃣ Time for myself: With the first cup of coffee, I take a moment to start the day calmly – sometimes with journaling.
5️⃣ Breakfast: My favorite? Porridge or homemade granola.

A good day starts with a relaxing morning routine—or at least a good attempt! Whether you're an early riser or prefer to linger in bed for a few more minutes, here are my steps to make your mornings relaxed and productive.

1. Turn off the alarm clock & drink water Yup, I know the feeling of reaching for the phone and I'm tempted to do it too often, but this is about the perfect morning routine: After sleeping, your body is dehydrated, so start with a glass of water to get your circulation going. I always have a large bottle of water next to my bed.

2. Turn on the coffee machine & exercise I love my portafilter machine but it takes 20 minutes to heat up, so I'm forced to walk over there and get my first steps of the day. Move around a bit, be it 5 minutes on the yoga mat stretching or a mini walk around the apartment. ☕️

3. Skincare routine A fresh morning routine not only gives your skin the glow it needs, but also gives you a motivational boost. So if I'm already in the kitchen, I usually take my race roller out of the fridge and go into the bathroom with it. Cleansing, facial oil and Vaseline are a must afterward.

4. Time for you For me, "me-time" begins with the first cup of coffee. While I enjoy this moment, I try not to let to-do lists stress me out. I don't manage to journal regularly (yet), but hey - what hasn't happened yet can still happen, right? It would definitely be the perfect moment to organize your thoughts and start the day relaxed.

5. Breakfast I swear by porridge, especially in winter. It keeps me full for a long time and gives me the energy I need. If I'm particularly motivated, I prepare granola the night before - perfect for eating something first thing in the morning. You can find my granola recipe here ! 🥣

With these simple but effective steps, your morning will be a relaxed foundation for a successful day. Find routines that are good for you and you will notice how much better you start the day.
